New features
- Welcome to docs.trlyr.com — the official terralayr documentation site — This week we launched the unified terralayr documentation site. Everything now lives in one hub: a single home for how Layr works, how it is changing, and how you should integrate with it. Bookmark https://docs.trlyr.com/ and treat it as the entry point for terralayr going forward.
- Product updates, deprecations, and migration paths in one place — The Product Updates & Changelog area is where you will see what shipped, what we fixed, and what we are sunsetting. Deprecation notices include timelines and migration guidance so you can plan for cutoff dates. As the platform evolves, this changelog is where we will continue to announce behaviour changes.
- Layr User Guide — From the documentation home, jump straight into the Layr User Guide for getting started flows, feature documentation, deep dives, and the glossary for shared terminology.
- BESS Academy and LAYR Academy — New to storage, markets, or how LAYR fits the stack? BESS Academy walks through five modules: the energy landscape, what happens inside a BESS site, the project lifecycle, markets and revenue, and how investments get de-risked. LAYR Academy explains the problems LAYR solves, core platform concepts, and how our modular product is structured.
- Interactive API reference — The API reference is now embedded in our documentation. REST documentation for the LAYR API with an interactive playground so you can explore with better context around the user guide and changelog.
- Machine-readable index for tools and assistants — If you use AI coding assistants or automation that needs a map of every page, fetch the full documentation index at https://docs.trlyr.com/llms.txt. Get started by clicking the “Copy page” dropdown at the top of this page.
Bug fixes
- Unavailability and delivery-period boundaries — Boundaries that are “in the past” but within the current delivery period remain un-modified by an incoming unavailability, leading to theoretically > 100% boundaries in charge units for those values. This has been resolved.
