Virtual asset event history
You can now retrieve a timeline of events for a virtual asset from a new endpoint:
GET /organisations/{organisationID}/virtual-assets/{virtualAssetID}/events
It returns the auditable history for the asset — including schedule updates, capacity adjustments, and unavailability events — and accepts optional types, start, and end query parameters to filter the results. When types is omitted, all events for the asset are returned.
The same history is now available in the webapp under a new Logs tab on the virtual asset dispatch view, so you can review what changed on an asset and when without a separate API call.
Improvements
Unavailability handling preserves ancillary commitments
We have reworked how partial unavailabilities are distributed across your virtual assets. Where the remaining capacity allows, your FCR and aFRR commitments are now kept whole, with the reduction absorbed on the wholesale block first (leaving a buffer for FCR). Available energy capacity now follows the available power capacity allocation, keeping assets closer to a consistent duration through an unavailability. The result is more predictable available power and energy capacity on your virtual asset during partial outages.
Bug fixes
- Submitting a zero-volume aFRR energy bid no longer deletes your other aFRR energy bids for the same product. Only the bids targeted by the incoming zero bid are removed.
- Operational data requests now return a clear error when a data row contains invalid (
NaN) values, rather than returning the bad value.
- Fixed a division-by-zero in the ramp-rate validator that could affect schedule validation for ramp-rated assets.
