New features
Faster unavailability entry in the webapp
We have updated the unavailability entry form to make it quicker and easier to log unavailabilities. You can now set a single percentage of the asset as unavailable, instead of having to enter power and energy values separately. The form works out the corresponding reductions for you, so recording a partial outage is much faster.
Improvements
100 kW rounding on the flex cone and adjustments
The flex cone and adjustments process now round to the nearest 100 kW, rather than the nearest kW. This better reflects the quantities you can actually trade, so the deliverable power limits you see line up more closely with real market increments.
Clearer documentation for deliverable power limits
We have reworked the documentation for the maximum and minimum deliverable power datapoints (the flex cone) on the operational data endpoint. The previous wording had confused several customers, so the updated docs make it clearer what these values mean and how to use them.
Friendlier bid allocation errors
When a bid cannot be allocated, the API now returns a clear 422 response with an explanatory message, instead of an unhelpful 500 Internal Server Error. This makes it much easier to understand and act on a rejected bid.
More reliable bid allocation
We have improved the bid allocation process to reduce how often allocation errors occur in the first place, so more bids are allocated successfully on submission.
Bug fixes
- Fixed a bug where revalidations could be applied after gate closure. Schedules are no longer revalidated once the gate has closed for a delivery period.
